CRCEA Newsletter Available
The California Retired County Employees Association (CRCEA) is a coalition of all the associations of retired county employees from the 20 counties with retirement systems formed under the County Employees Retirement Law of 1937.
CRCEA was created to identify and protect the rights of retired county employees, and its mission is to provide a forum for educating members and promoting retiree benefits and issues. It represents over 163,000 retirees, and REAVC is a member association.
To help fulfill its purpose, CRCEA monitors those state and federal legislative measures that may affect its member associations as well as sponsoring and promoting its own legislative proposals. CRCEA also closely monitors court cases that affect retirees and has filed amicus briefs with the courts on behalf of retirees.
